For shopping ad restauarants you are just 3/4 of  mile from the US 192 - the main artery of the Kissimmee resort area with its numerous attractions, malls, shops and restaurants.

The giant 24/7 Walmart store is only2 minutes  drive away or a leisurely 15 minute stroll along Bass Road.

If you prefer shopping at Aldi then there is an excellent Aldi store across the road from Walmart. 

If it is nature/wildlife you want then the lake is bounded by the Shingle Creek Nature Preserve so you can enjoy Floridian wildlife up close from your own home. Watch the turkeys, owls, herron, cranes, egrets, deer, raccoons, turtles, otters, the occasional gator!

Shingle Creek is commonly recognised as the :head waters" of the Everglades and you can rent a canoe just under a mile north of this villa and paddle you ow way through tis tranquil, unspoiled Florida wilderness. You can also walk the trails or fish the creek waters.
